The new regulation introduced by the Chinese Customs – General Administration of Customs China – GACC, Decree No. 56, came into effect on 1 June 2018.

The data submitted to our Customer Service will be passed directly to the Chinese Customs by the marine and air carriers.
It is the responsibility of the shipper to submit complete and accurate data. Every report of incorrect or invalid data will result in a blockage in the customs procedure at destination, which may cause delays in customs clearance or routing of the shipment, with the risk of penalties which you will be required to pay. Below we list the information that must necessarily be supplied to LOG Srl to allow us to manage the routine transmission of data for the export/import of goods. The mandatory information that must be provided is:

  • Business Name, Address, City, Country of Shipper
  • Telephone Number (international format) of Shipper +39 0733 895811
  • VAT Number of Shipper or CCIA registration no.
  • Business Name of CONSIGNEE
  • Address of CONSIGNEE (including street, number, city, country, ZIP CODE)
  • Tax Identification Number of CONSIGNEE – For China the 18-digit USCI code (Unified Social Credit Identifier) or the 9-digit Organization Code (OC)
  • Telephone Number of CONSIGNEE (international format)
  • Contact Person for CONSIGNEE (full name and telephone number if different from the business number)
  • If the CONSIGNEE is TO ORDER, the following information concerning the NOTIFY PARTY is also required:
  • Business Name of the NOTIFY PARTY
  • Address of NOTIFY PARTY (including street, number, city, country, ZIP CODE)
  • Tax Identification Number of NOTIFY PARTY – For China the 18-digit USCI code (Unified Social Credit Identifier) or the 9-digit Organization Code (OC)
  • Telephone Number of NOTIFY PARTY (international format)
  • Contact Person for NOTIFY PARTY (full name and telephone number if different from business number)

In the case of triangular shipments in which the SHIPPER named in the documentation (AWB or B/L) is different to the EXPORTER, all the obligations listed above regarding the provision of Shipper data remain valid.
This remains the case even if the SHIPPER is a foreign company.
