Circular No 5896/312 of 7/1/2019 issued by the Director General Customs and Excise of Morocco informs us that as of 1/3/2019 Moroccan Customs expressly require transport documents (bill of lading/CMR/etc.) to carry the ICE (Identifiant Commun de l’Entreprise) of the consignee, who is responsible for communicating it to the supplier.

Exporters are therefore reminded to provide the ICE data in sufficient time for processing of documents. This procedure will greatly simplify customs clearance and dispatch of goods from warehouse to destination.
